Earth Alkemie's Legends

Journey through time with our Legends cosmetics. Earth Alkemie's Legends are from or inspired by different cultures (present and past) throughout history. Some of our Legends are recreations of historic cosmetics, made with a modern twist; they are Li's version of the classics. We also offer a few traditionally made cosmetics like African black soaps.

African black soap is soap made in a traditional manner (using plant ash to saponify oils and butters) by many different African peoples. We offer four different kinds of African black soap, made by women co-ops in Togo and Ghana. Our African black soaps are fair trade.

Everlast Elixir is Li's version of the classic aromatherapy combination of rosehip seed oil and everlast (helichrysum) essential oil. Everlast Elixir also contains many other nutrient rich carrier oils and herbs, including certified organic pomegranate oil. Everlast Elixir is high in many antioxidants and vitamins, and is perfect for many skin types and conditions especially scarred skin, and the under eye area.

Tropical Dreams: In Indonesia and other parts of Asia, one traditional hair oil treatment is called maccassar oil. Tropical Dreams is Li's version of macassar oil. Maccassar oil is used to soften and lightly scent the hair, and to make it soft and shiny. Wonderfully fragrant, Earth Alkemie's Tropical Dreams triples as a hair treatment, an all over body oil, and a spot treatment for blemishes.
