Earth Alkemie is open again after a month long hiatus.

There is a fantastic brand new product, Nirvana Facial Creme. It is essentially a waterless cream (balm) and smells like heaven! Will post another blog post about Nirvana, I am excited to release this one!

Balance toner is back in stock too, for a limited time. I found a new source for owyhee hydrosol which should arrive this summer, and I am still looking for a source of real ylang ylang hydrosol–all of my previous vendors either stopped selling them or went out of business. They are both hard ingredients to source, since they are rare hydrosols (not a lot of places distill them, and some places claim they sell them but they are not selling real hydrosols). I had some frozen or refrigerated, so have made a batch with what I had left. So for now it will be given an Ephemeral (limited edition) status, until I am positive I have found a stable source of ylang ylang hydrosol.

The grande size of Sunset Cleansing Oil is back in stock. The xiao (small) size is still being packaged in 2 oz glass treatment pump. I had to change the packaging of the grande (full) size though (since the lotion type pumps popped open during transit for someone, so I can not ship them in the lotion pumps), so now I am packaging the 4 oz size in a plain 4 oz plastic PET #1 bottle. I am offering it in two different options for the grande size: the first option is Sunset packaged in the plain 4 oz plastic PET #1 bottle. This option is meant to be used as a refill (since the bottle is a plain plastic bottle. I will order different bottles in the future, but for now they will be packaged in plain plastic bottles). In the second 4 oz option, the plain plastic bottle of Sunset comes with an additional empty blue glass lotion type pump.

Warrior Aromatherapy Liquid Cleanser will also be back on the site probably within a week or so. It will be available in different sizes (it will now come in a petite (sample) size, that is packaged in these really cute tiny plastic sample bottles I just bought. They will contain enough product for a couple uses, so they are a great inexpensive way to try them). The 2 oz size (which was previously the xiao (small) size) will then become the grande (full) size. I am getting new bottles for those.

Website updates are still occurring. I have updated the links page (so most of the links to my sites now have better pictures/banners; it just looks nicer 🙂 ). Many pages will be getting new pictures up soon too. I will update the ingredients, directions, and skin care routine to include information on Nirvana Facial creme, sometime by this weekend. And just about to update the Ephemeral (limited edition) page in a bit.

I will hopefully be adding the containers and raw ingredients section within the next week or so. I will be selling limited amounts of raw ingredients (like carrier oils, essential oils, herbs) on a limited basis, so the stock will always be changing! 🙂 I will also be selling a few containers (bottles and jars).

I am busy getting ready to reopen (Earth Alkemie will be reopening on July 6th).

I have just posted a forum game for a petite/sample vial of my not yet released Swan Luna Elixir. This is the elixir that I crafted for Hamsa, who won a contest last year (I spent almost a year crafting and perfecting it. A few others may have tried one of its versions; since I had sent out some samples or small sizes with orders, during a couple specials. It had a different name before). Thank you Hamsa for being so patient with me as I was crafting it, and also for helping to choose its new name! I am glad you love Swan Luna Elixir!

I wrote this Eco Living article sometime last year. It is another article on skin care when traveling. I don’t like to carry around several containers of products when I travel (aside from a few Earth Alkemie essentials ;P ), since I am a pretty light traveler. So I wrote this article on a few fresh ingredients that you can use, and that are easily found in almost any area. This article includes an idea for an all natural hand cleanser, and mild sanitizer. And more! Great ideas for summer time travel, or travel year round! Enjoy the article and the 4th of July weekend. Can’t wait to reopen Earth Alkemie! 🙂

Hi everyone

Thank you for being so understanding during my recent closing; I appreciate all of the well wishes.

I am doing a lot better than I was a few weeks ago. I am still dealing with my health issues (I have had them for years, so it’s a long road to recovery) but I have spent the last few weeks resting, and taking care of myself. I feel that I am ready to reopen and get back to work 🙂

I will be reopening next week, on July 6th, 2011. There will be some sort of special or sale when I reopen but I am not sure what yet (so I will post about it on the day I actually reopen, LOL!).

I will also be posting a game on the forum for the elixir I made for a customer, Hamsa, within the next couple days. So keep an eye out for that also.

One new product will be available when I reopen: Nirvana Facial Creme (which is a waterless cream, or in other words balm for the facial area, that smells divine). It will be an ephemeral (limited) edition product.

Within the next few weeks I will also be offering limited amounts of some ingredients and containers on my website (limited quantities, the offerings will be changed often).

In addition, Earth Alkemie will be revamping its product line over the next several months (more on that in another post).

I wrote this Eco Living article last year on more summer skin care tips. In this article I wrote about some natural sun protection ingredients (ingredients that I think are great in a sun screen), all natural sun burn remedies (super simple remedies, but includes a link to my personal Eco blog for a fancier sun burn aloe remedy), and tips to increase hydration in the skin (skin can get quite dehydrated in the summer time).

Earth Alkemie is still closed but while it is closed I have decided to post more about skin care, ingredients, and post some links to old articles over the next several days or weeks.

This first link is for one of the first Eco Living articles I wrote for all natural beauty mall’s website; it is on spring and summer skin care. I wrote it because I realized it can be confusing on how to change your skin care when the weather gets warmer (usually in the summer skin can get quite oily and dehydrated in many cases). I also included a simple to make, all natural, hand made, fresh recipe for a delicious smelling strawberry scrub. It mildly exfoliates and leaves the skin soft.

I hope you enjoy this article, I will be posting more links soon, including the link for my newest Eco Living article (which should be up on anb mall’s site in a few days, I just submitted it last night).

I am doing okay, I am getting plenty of rest, and taking it easy. Not doing too much business related stuff but I am restocking on ingredients needed and also thinking of ways to change several things (including the product line offerings).

Hi everyone,

I am taking a hiatus for at least a couple weeks or longer. Earth Alkemie will be temporarily closed starting on June 2.

I have not been feeling that well the last few weeks. I have a lot of health issues (have had them for years) and the worse of my symptoms have been flaring up a lot recently (they have been occurring more often and greater in intensity than usual). So I am closing the store for a little while since I need some time to focus on getting a little better.

I am unsure exactly when I will reopen, but I will be making regular updates on this blog, Earth Alkemie’s forum and facebook to keep everyone posted. Hopefully I will reopen back up within 2-3 weeks, but it really depends how I am feeling then.

One thing I love doing is writing eco living articles for anb (all natural) beauty mall. My newest article was one that I had written for Mother’s Day, which came out a few days ago. But even though it isn’t Mother’s Day anymore, I think moms everywhere should be celebrated all the time (including Mother Earth!)

I hope you enjoy my newest article (it also has a very health dessert recipe in it; yummy!).
